Emerging Photographer and Sculpture Artist

Emily Cameron a Mississippi native, grew up in Boulder Colorado and matriculated back to the south for undergrad at the Atlanta College of Art. Currently attending Parsons in New York for her MFA, Emily is working on multiple bodies of work incorporating sculpture and photography.

She is currently showing a body of work entitled "VISAGE" at the Aspen Art Museum and Brooklyn Academy of Music during the months of October through November.

Her more current photographic work revolves around the banal, mundane and mercurial of her subjects lives and herself. Portraying made up situations and a splash of reality these images capture and create narratives based on mood and situation. A sort of solipsism....
